I created Heal Your Gut after going through my own long struggle with gut issues. I was bloated, reacting to foods I used to tolerate, and constantly guessing what was “safe” to eat.
Today, I’m a different woman — I can even enjoy dairy again (in moderation!) — and my goal is to help you experience the same freedom and relief.
This 6–8 week reset is the same framework I’ve used with clients, including a doctor who was able to stop taking anxiety medication after she removed gluten from her diet and Kim Brent, who went from daily discomfort to finally feeling like herself again.

Hi, I’m Coach Janet!
In my late 20s, I was the picture of unhealthy habits—smoking a pack a day, eating all the wrong foods, never exercising, and working nonstop. Fast forward a couple of decades, and I completely transformed my health, fitness, and life—and now I help others do the same.
After more than 20 years in the corporate world as an IT project and portfolio manager, I left to pursue my passion: Now I specialize in helping women 40+ balance hormones, lose stubborn belly fat, and feel in control again through simple, sustainable fitness and nutrition strategies.
My own transformation took me from zero fitness to standing on podiums in karate, bodybuilding, CrossFit, and now pickleball competitions. In fact, in my last CrossFit Open, I ranked 31st in Canada for my age group!
Today, I’m proud to be part of the over-60 club and a mom of four grown children.
